TrueFormed provides business formation filing, compliance monitoring, registered agent services (via third-party providers), and related document preparation services. TrueFormed is a document preparation and filing service, not a law firm or CPA. We do not provide legal, tax, or accounting advice. All filing decisions are made by you — we prepare and submit documents based on the information you provide. For legal advice about your business structure, consult a licensed attorney. We do not provide advice on which business entity type to choose, how to structure your business, or the legal implications of any filing. Our service fees are separate from state filing fees. State filing fees are set by each state government and are collected from you and paid to the state on your behalf. State fees are non-refundable once paid to the state. Our service fees are clearly displayed before purchase.
Registered agent services are provided by a third-party registered agent provider in all 50 states. TrueFormed facilitates this service under its own brand. The registered agent provider maintains physical offices and accepts service of process on your behalf as required by state law.
We guarantee 100% accuracy in the filing of documents based on the information you provide. If we make an error in filing, we will correct it at no additional charge. We are not responsible for errors caused by incorrect information provided by you.
We do not auto-renew your subscription. Before your service period expires, we will send you a renewal reminder via email. You choose whether to renew. We will never charge your payment method without your explicit action.
If we have not yet filed any documents on your behalf, you may request a full refund of our service fee. Once a filing has been submitted to a state or federal agency, our service fee is non-refundable (as the work has been completed). State fees paid to government agencies are non-refundable in all cases.
We collect business information (business name, address, EIN, officer names) necessary to provide our services. This information is stored securely and is used only for the purpose of filing documents on your behalf. We do not sell your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Our liability is limited to the service fees you have paid us. We are not liable for any consequential, indirect, or incidental damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to penalties from late filings, business losses, or reliance on our compliance calendar.
